Monsanto Named One of World's Best Places to Work
Missouri Ag Connection - 10/27/2016

For the fifth year in a row, Great Place to Work has ranked Monsanto Company on its 2016 list of the Top 25 "World's Best Multinational Workplaces." Ranked No. 23, Monsanto is the only agricultural and St. Louis-based company to appear on this year's list.

"We are honored that our commitment of hiring a diverse workforce and promoting an inclusive culture globally has and continues to be recognized," said Steve Mizell, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Monsanto. "Our company's foundation is built on a culture that values respect, professionalism and collaboration -- key factors that continue to help us serve the needs of our farmer customers."

To be eligible for the Top 25 World's Best Multinational Workplaces list, qualifying companies must have appeared on at least five national Great Place to Work lists, have at least 5,000 employees worldwide and have a global workforce where at least 40 percent of their employees work outside the company's home country.

Monsanto continues to be recognized by other third-party organizations as an employer of choice. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption recognized Monsanto as one of the nation's best adoption friendly workplaces, DiversityInc named Monsanto to its Top 50 Companies for Diversity List and Great Place to Work Institute and Fortune magazine ranked Monsanto 11th on its 2016 list of the 50 Best Workplaces for Flexibility.
