Guided Bison Hike at Prairie State Park March 2

Spring is just around the corner and Prairie State Park invites you to explore the prairie while learning about bison. Join staff for a guided hike at 10 a.m., March 2 to see what the prairie has to offer this time of year as the temperatures warm flowers and insects, encouraging them to come out. Don't forget your camera! Be prepared for a two-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful for looking at bison as well as other wildlife that may be out and about. Dress for the weather, the prairie winds can be cold this time of year.
