Market Steer and Heifer Nose Prints, Barrow DNA Cards Due

Missouri State Fair staff and show superintendents are working hard to finalize the rules/regulations and classes for livestock shows and competitive exhibits. The Premium Guide, a comprehensive tool for State Fair exhibitors, is expected to be posted on the Fair's website in April. In the meantime, staff wanted to make sure beef cattle and swine exhibitors were aware of some deadlines for nose prints and DNA cards.

Market Steer and Heifer Nose Prints:

- Exhibitors must get these cards through their Extension Office or agriculture teacher

- Must be postmarked on or before March 15

Barrow DNA Cards:

- Exhibitors may get these cards through their Extension Office or agriculture teacher. Exhibitors can also order them using the order form available here.

- Must be postmarked on or before May 15
