'Missouri Employment Law Essentials' in Ozark June 8

Having trouble getting a grip on the numerous Human Resource issues and laws? Any person required to manage employees, then this workshop is for you!

"Missouri Employment Law Essentials" will provide attendees with a working knowledge of the essentials of Missouri Employment Law and help attendees organize the most important element in the business - the people.

This educational workshop, "Missouri Employment Law Essentials" is jointly organized by Christian County MU Extension, the Missouri State University Small Business and Technology Development Center and the Carl G. Hefner Enterprise Center.

"Missouri Employment Law Essentials" will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., June 8 at the Ozark OC, 1530 W. Jackson Street in Ozark.

"Missouri Employment Law Essentials" targets all small business employers or those thinking about hiring employees. This class is designed for businesses with one employee all the way up to 500 employees.

Five experts from the Missouri Department of Labor will share their expertise. Participants will gain a working knowledge on a wide variety of human resources topics including.

"Participants will be equipped to help them make better employment decisions. We are very fortunate to have speakers from Missouri Department of Labor to provide information to help local business ensure they are in compliance with state and federal laws" said Irons, director of MSU Small Business and Technology Development Center.

The cost to attend the workshop is $25 for Ozark Chamber members, $35 for non-members, and advanced registration is required.
