Mandatory Synthetic Auxin Herbicide Training Available

The Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) requires certified applicators to complete online or in-person training annually before buying or using synthetic auxin herbicide tolerant products. Only certified applicators may purchase and/or use
Engenia, XtendiMax or Fexapan.

Several MU Extension offices in southwest Missouri are holding a computer lab option for producers to complete the online training module. This training is required on an annual basis in order to purchase any of the approved synthetic auxin herbicide
tolerant products: Engenia, XtendiMax, or FeXapan.
The training takes about two hours to complete and examines best management practices to ensure proper application of synthetic auxin herbicides such as 2,4-D and dicamba.

The enrollment fee of $30 must be paid with a credit card online when beginning the course.
